Jonathan Gimbel - Meridian Health

Jonathan Gimbel received a Masters of Acupuncture Degree (M.Ac.) in 1994 from the Northwest Institute for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NIAOM) in Seattle, Washington. His postgraduate study includes observation and practice on Shodo-Shima Island, Japan (1994) and completing the Toyohari training program in 2001. He is currently a member of the Toyohari Association (www.toyohari.org). He has also studied Shaku-ju Therapy with Kobayashi Sensei and classical Japanese moxibustion techniques with Junji Mizutani Sensei. His practice is approved in Washington State and Licensed in Massachusetts.

He has an ongoing Tai Chi Chuan practice (www.longrivertaichi.org) and trains in Qi Gong (chi gong) with Master Zhonxian Wu (www.masterwu.net). His current business, Meridian Health Acupuncture, formerly located in Amherst, Massachusetts, has moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Jonathan specializes in the treatment of children and needle sensitive adults. He also treats allergies, childhood asthma, and other chronic ailments.
